Lifeguards:Love summer? We’ve got a job for that. The Borough of Zelienople is hiring seasonal Part-Time Lifeguards. Get paid to spend the summer at the pool. Lifeguarding is a great job for students, teachers, retirees, and anyone with summer availability. American Red Cross lifeguard, first aid, and CPR certifications are all required. Job Responsibilities:
- Enforce rules to diminish problems/injuries.
- Maintain concentrated observation of the duty area and its users to anticipate problems and to identify an emergency quickly.
- Supervise the use of equipment when allocated to that duty such as water slides or any other activities taking place.
- Carry out rescues and initiate other emergency actions as necessary.
- Give immediate first aid in the event of injury to a bather or other incident.
- Communicate with bathers and other users to help fulfill the above tasks.
- Other duties will include secondary duties such as acting as a general information point in the guardhouse or deck area and cleaning various areas of the facility to maintain a clean and safe facility.
Job Type: Seasonal Part-Time
Pay: $12.00/hour
Schedule: Sunday through Saturday (must be willing to work weekends)
Minimum Age: 15 years old
License/Certification Required:
- Lifeguard Certification
- CPR/First Aid
- Clearances/Fingerprinting
- Under 18 must have work permit

Pool Co-Managers:
The Borough of Zelienople is accepting applications for the position of a part-time Co- Pool Manager. This position is a summer seasonal job responsible for the day-to-day supervision and operation of the outdoor swimming pool facility, ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment. Collaborates closely with The Park Manager. High School Diploma or associate degree required. Must have experience in supervising staff. CPR certification is required. Lifeguard manager certification is required. Applicants should possess a valid driver’s license. Wage rate commensurate with experience.
