To all residents and Business owners:
The recent flooding in Zelienople has caused hardships for many people as well as financial difficulties. The Borough declared an emergency on May 29, 2019 in order to facilitate recovery and in the future possible funding opportunities.
The notice from the Butler County Emergency Services is a good article with accompanying files to explain what an emergency declaration means and what it can or cannot do.
Please read this as it is very important. The file documents for damage assessment and small business assistance may be of help to you as well.
There's also a publication called Homeowners Guide to Stormwater BMP Maintenance. What You Need to Know to Take are of Your Property.
We will provide information as it becomes available that can be helpful to you. In the meantime stay safe and contact the borough office if you have any questions.
