COMMUNITY  PARK 

The Community Park, straddling the Boroughs of Zelienople and Harmony, provides a swimming pool with facilities, newly renovated Snack Bar with expanded menu, 6 ball fields, 3 tennis courts, 2 basketball courts, 7 picnic shelters, a beautiful playground, and a new walking trail. A newly created Park Master Plan has been adopted which will be the roadmap for improvements to the park for years to come. It is proof that the community values a recreational facility that is local, vibrant and family oriented.

The Community Park was organized in 1949 and was a non-profit, private organization until 2003 when the Park became an entity of Zelienople Borough.

The pool facilities and shelters are operated by the Community Park Board, the athletic program is organized and managed by the local Sports Association; and the membership, volunteers and local service organizations donate considerable time and funds to make this a highlight of the community. New addition in 2010 is the creation of the Zelienople Area Swim club that will operate at the pool.
