"When once you have tasted flight, you will forever walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward, for there you have been, and there you will always long to return." . . . Leonardo da Vinci
EAA Chapter 857 is a growing and diverse organization of members with a wide range of aviation interest and backgrounds. We are a Chapter focused on people, offering the opportunity to make new aviation friends and form relationships while encouraging the sharing of information, stories and enthusiasm. You don't have to be a pilot or aircraft owner to be a member of the EAA, just an aviation enthusiast!
Our chapter has many programs and one of the most important is the Young Eagles Program created to give a free flight experience to young people ages 8-17. The national EAA membership along with its Chapters hope to give one million young people a demonstration airplane ride by the year 2003, the 100th anniversary of powered flight. Other programs include aircraft building and social activities.
